Ore Factory Squad Roadmap: Every Phase Toward Version 2.0
The official five-phase Ore Factory Squad roadmap, what each free update plans to add, and which features are already in Phase 0.
Roadmap status at a glance
threeW has published five planned phases leading toward version 2.0. The studio describes these as free updates, but has not attached fixed release dates to every phase. Treat the order and feature lists as plans, not promises: the official post says the roadmap may change in response to development and player feedback.
Phase 0 is already underway. Part 1 arrived on July 25, 2026 with text chat, contract and stock improvements, forklift and pallet interface changes, conveyor fixes, balance changes, and stability work.
Phase 0 — Shifting Gears
This first phase focuses on the systems players touch every session:
- conveyor filtering and belt improvements;
- storage and drop-zone output options;
- multiplayer roles and permissions;
- text chat and a portable lunchbox;
- contract, stock, user-interface, balance, and quality-of-life improvements;
- a mini excavator, mobile office, and gameplay modifiers.
Part 1 does not mean every Phase 0 item is complete. Check the official news feed before assuming a planned feature is in the current build.
Phase 1 — Masters of Oil
The oil phase plans to expand the production chain with crude oil, pipes, tanks, a tanker truck, a desert property, and additional machines, resources, and licenses. This should create new routing and storage questions, but exact recipes and ratios are not yet official.
Phase 2 — After Hours
Planned features include weather, homes, vehicle customization, special contracts, navigation improvements, factory statistics, casino activities, and robot work orders. Factory statistics could be especially useful for diagnosing bottlenecks, but the final interface is still unknown.
Phase 3 — Age of Circuits
This phase is aimed at electronics and hazardous work: tech scrap, an e-waste property, electronic components, a drone, radiation, masks, and filters. Do not build guides around exact values until the update is playable.
Phase 4 — Frost & Steel
The last named phase plans an arctic property, heavy industry, new ores, materials, machines, resources, and achievements. The announcement loosely connects the snowy area with the holiday season, but it does not provide a guaranteed launch date.
How to track the roadmap
Use the Steam news feed as the source of truth. Compare each patch note with the roadmap instead of treating a competitor wiki or old video as confirmation. We will mark features as planned, in testing, or released as official posts appear.
